Ice Dam Repair

An Ice Dam is a ridge of ice that forms along the lower edge of your roof, possibly leading to roof leaks.

If you live in Michigan, you already know about the damaging effects of ice dams. Your gutters clog up with ice which creates a dam, then the water runoff from the roof gets trapped by the dam and eventually backs up the roof, traveling under the shingles, leaking into the house, causing all kinds of damage.

After the snow and ice was removed from the roof, Speed Pro drilled holes in the top of the window to release the trapped water causing the interior damage.

Speed Pro removed the damaged drywall, treated for mold, and after the areas dried out, repaired the wall damage, re-caulked the window, primed and repainted.
